The Army Institute Of Technology (AIT), Pune was established in 1994 by the army government of India for wards of army personnel only. The college is approved by AICTE and accredited Grade A by NAAC. The college was ranked 4th by the week of engineering and 54th for being one of the private engineering colleges by outlook India.

The college offers B.E. and M.E. course in various specializations. Providing a life beyond classrooms , AIT Pune offers a wide campus for both girls and boys of army personnel. The college has a great placement record which makes it the best choice for engineering.

AIT Pune Placements

The primary ground on which colleges are chosen by students are placements. For Indian students mainly good colleges providing great placement and a good roi over fees are considered. The college has an average record for placing 90% of its students into top. The average package for the students is 7 Lakh per annum. 

The Highest Package went up to 39 Lakhs last year for B.E.The average placements for the computer and I.T. Branch is 11 Lakh.

AIT Pune Scholarships

The following scholarships are offered to Army personnel’s wards:

  • Hashman Scholarship: Every 10 meritorious students having no backlogs and having a 7.0 GPA in the last university exam are offered a scholarship of INR 15000. The Wards of divorcees/widows, martyrs, etc. are also eligible for the scholarship.
  • Horizon Scholarship: Any 10 Deserving and needy wards of JCO’s are offered INR 15,000 each. Also every 2 girl children are offered INR 25,000 each on Army Institute of Technology Day.
  • Udchalo Scholarship: Meritorious students are offered 32 scholarships worth 400000.

Admissions

How to apply?

The admissions are done Online. Admissions are allowed strictly to the wards of army personnel only. 

They need to show Proof of eligibility in respect of the following categories:

  • Ward of serving Army personnel or of a regular Army pensioner (Submit Certificate No 1). 
  • Ward of an ex-Army personnel granted pension benefits (Submit Certificate No 1). 
  • Ward of ex-Army personnel who has taken discharge or released after ten years of service (Submit Certificate No 1). 
  • Adopted child of an Army personnel (Submit Certificate No 2). 
  • Ward of Army personnel (Submit Certificate No 2). 
  • Ward of an ex-AMC/ADC Officer (Submit Certificate No 3).
  • Ward of an APS Personnel (Submit Certificate No 3). 
  • Proof of Ward of War Widow (Battle Casualty Certificate along with C.T.C. of Part II Order (as per Appendix ‘A’

The Admission process is as follows:

  • Visit the College’ website and click on the fill Online Application form . 
  • Register by filling Required Details and to generate a new ID or password.
  • The form requires personal Details , Addresses ,and Mobile Number . 
  • Submit the Application Form by logging in with the same and password that you had set initially

Important Documents Required:

  • Scanned and Recent Photograph in JPG / JPEG Format.
  • Scanned Signature in JPG / JPEG Format.
  • Valid photograph ID ( Aadhar card , Driving Licence ) 
  • Degree Certificate copy of 10th , 12th , Graduation
