The university also accepts applications for B.Tech lateral entry admissions from the best eligible candidates. However, the NRI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals candidates can take admission through DASA (Direct Admission of Students’ Abroad). JEE Main ranks shall be considered for the admission of such candidates.

  • 10% of marks are relaxed for SC/ST category candidates and 5% for OBC candidates. 
  • 10% relaxation of marks is also done for PwD candidates and under Defense, category 5% marks are relaxed. 
  • DTU B.Tech Application Form can be filled online by visiting the official website.
  • Counseling fee (INR 1400) can be paid through Challan or Net Banking.
  • B.Tech (Evening) admission is made under two categories, i.e., Direct and Sponsored.
  • For B.Tech (Evening) program, the duly filled application form along with the application fee of INR 1000 in the form of DD drawn in favor of ‘Registrar, Delhi Technological University payable at Delhi should reach to Deputy Coordinator (Admin), DTU.
  • 85% of seats are reserved for those candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from the school located in Delhi or NCT of Delhi.
  • 15% of seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to the school located outside Delhi.
  • One seat in each course is reserved for Kashmiri Migrants (KM) and Single Girl Child (SG) who are residing in the NCT of Delhi.
  • One seat over and above the sanctioned intake is reserved for State/ Central Board Toppers.
