The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially released the second-round NRI (Non-Resident Indian) quota list for NEET UG 2025 admissions to deemed medical universities. This announcement is pivotal for NRIs and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) aspiring to pursue MBBS in India under the NRI category.
In the second round, over 1,100 additional seats have been added to the seat matrix, including those in deemed universities. This expansion aims to accommodate more NRI candidates and streamline the admission process.
Candidates seeking admission under the NRI quota must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and submit the required documentation. This includes proof of NRI status and other relevant documents as specified by the MCC.
The MCC has released a revised schedule for the second round of counselling. Candidates are advised to visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in for detailed information on dates and procedures.
After the allotment results are declared, candidates must report to their allotted institutions within the stipulated time frame. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat.
Result Declaration: By 12th September 2025
Reporting Deadline: As per the revised schedule on the MCC website
The release of the second-round NRI quota list marks a significant step in the NEET UG 2025 admission process for deemed medical colleges. Candidates are urged to stay updated with the official MCC notifications and adhere to the revised timelines to secure their admissions.
